Documents
Every file uploaded across all your jobs lives here, in one searchable list, with storage tracked against your plan's limit.
The documents list
Each row shows the file name, the job it's linked to (if any), who uploaded it, its size and the date. Search by file name, job title or reference, and choose how many results to show per page. Click a file to download it.
Adding documents through a job
Files aren't uploaded from this page, they're added from within a job. You can attach documents while creating a job (optional, or add them later), or upload them at any time from the Documents section on the job page itself with "Upload document". Everything you upload this way shows up here automatically, linked back to that job.
Storage limits
Every plan comes with a set amount of document storage, shown at the top of this page as storage used against your total, with a progress bar that turns orange as you approach the limit and red once you're close to running out. Once you're near it, you'll see a reminder to delete unused documents or upgrade your plan.
If you need the space back, deleting a document from this list (or from the job it's attached to) clears it up straight away. If you'd rather keep everything and just need more room, extra storage can be added from Settings, in the Billing tab, either by moving up to a plan with a higher storage tier or adding extra storage on top of your current plan.
Documents on invoices and estimates
Separately from job documents, you can set up default documents in Settings, under Invoicing, like your terms and conditions or H&S policy, that go out automatically with every invoice, every estimate, or both. You can also attach any document already uploaded here to a specific invoice or estimate from its own page. See the Invoices guide for more.
